Terms of Service

Permitted Uses

• Generate videos for personal, educational, or commercial purposes
• Create content for marketing, entertainment, or artistic projects
• Use generated videos in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Create videos that infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
• Produce content that contains violence, hate speech, or discriminatory material
• Generate adult content or material inappropriate for minors

• Resell or redistribute our service without explicit authorization
• Generate excessive requests that may impact service performance for other users

Credit Usage Rules

Our platform operates on a credit-based system where different video specifications consume different amounts of credits:

Credit Terms

• Credits are consumed immediately upon successful video/image generation
• Failed generations due to technical issues will automatically refund credits - no action required from you. iMideo reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, what constitutes a technical failure eligible for an automatic credit refund.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts
• Subscription renewals reset unused credits - credits do not accumulate across billing cycles
• Refunded credits (from failed tasks) expire in 1 year from the refund date

Billing and Payments

• All purchases are processed securely through our payment providers (Stripe)
• Subscription fees and credit purchases are billed in advance
• Monetary refunds available within 7 days for unused purchases - see our Refund Policy for details
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing users
• Failed payments may result in service suspension until resolved

Refund Policy Summary

We offer two types of refunds to ensure fair treatment:

• Monetary Refunds: Available within 7 days of purchase if no credits have been used
  • Applies to both subscriptions and one-time credit purchases
  • Using even 1 credit disqualifies monetary refunds
  • For subscription renewals, the 7-day refund window restarts only if no credits have been consumed in the new billing cycle
• Automatic Credit Refunds: Instant credit return for failed tasks due to technical issues (no action required)
  • API failures, processing errors, or task timeouts
  • Credits automatically returned to your account
  • Does not disqualify you from monetary refunds

For complete refund eligibility criteria, process details, and special circumstances, please review our full Refund Policy.

By You

• Account deletion: You can delete your account directly in the iMideo app (Profile → Delete My Account) or on the website (Account Settings → Delete Account). Your account will be deactivated immediately, with a 30-day grace period during which you may recover it by signing in again (for OAuth users) or by signing up again with the same email (for email/password users). After 30 days, your personal data is permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Alternatively, you may request account deletion by emailing support@imideo.io.
• Account deletion does not entitle you to refunds for unused subscription time or credits.
• Web (Stripe) subscriptions: Deleting your account will automatically set your active web subscription to non-renewing — it will remain active until the end of the current billing period and will not be charged again. If you recover your account within the 30-day grace period, you will need to manually re-subscribe to restore auto-renewal.
• iOS subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active iOS subscription — you must cancel separately in iPhone Settings, since Apple controls iOS billing.
• Conversely, cancelling a subscription does not delete your account — your account remains active and can continue to be used with any remaining or future credits.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
